The market, a beloved staple in the community, is now owned and operated by the dynamic duo of Debra Paschall and her daughter, Samantha De Vico, who has taken on the role of Market Manager. This venture was brought back to life in 2024, following a heartfelt message on a local Facebook group where a community member expressed a desire for the market to return after its unfortunate closure in 2020 under previous ownership.
Motivated by this call from the community, Debra reached out to local farmers, artisans, and friends to gauge interest in reviving the market. Their enthusiastic responses fueled her determination, prompting her to take the plunge into entrepreneurship. Debra envisioned not just a market, but a hub of community engagement where residents could connect with local producers, enjoy fresh produce, and foster relationships.
